I’m Myrsini, a soon to-be graduate in Software Development, preparing to complete my bachelor’s degree in May 2025. This autumn, I will begin a new chapter with a Master’s in Cyber Security, with a clear intention: to deepen my technical knowledge and build secure, meaningful digital experiences — from the ground up.

My journey into technology didn’t begin in a conventional way. I spent years working in journalism, research, and content creation, where I learned how to ask the right questions, tell compelling stories, and explore the “why” behind everything. Later, in the fast-paced world of customer service, especially in tech and financial services, I developed a deep empathy for users — an insight I now carry with me in every product I help build.

At some point, I felt the pull toward technology — not just as a tool, but as a creative medium. I wanted to understand how systems work. I wanted to build things. And so, I made the leap. I started from the basics, fell in love with code, and slowly, confidently, began building my new path.

Today, I’m taking my first professional steps in the Fintech and insurance sectors, designing and developing applications that are not only functional and user-friendly, but also built with security in mind. I’m particularly interested in the intersection between application development and cybersecurity, and how we can create software that is both elegant and resilient.

In my free time, I enjoy building websites — using tools like WordPress, Wix, Weebly, Shopify, or entirely custom solutions — always with an eye for clarity, usability, and a touch of personal flair. For me, it’s more than design; it’s about solving problems and telling digital stories that matter.

What drives me is curiosity, structure, and purpose. I believe that technology should empower, protect, and inspire. My aim is to keep learning, keep building, and be part of teams that turn ideas into real, impactful solutions.
